Park Road was awarded with the “Greening the Screen Award” in 2007 at the WIFT Awards. The Award acknowledges our commitment to sustainability and responsible energy and waste management. The Greening the Screen programme has been developed by the New Zealand Ministry for the Environment and Landcare Research to reduce the impact of the film industry on our natural resource.
Park Road is also a proud supporter of many local charities, providing regular donations and staff volunteers who dedicate their time to a diverse range of community causes.
Park Road believes in the responsibility to nurture a sustainable ecosystem for our growing screen industry talent, across the spectrum of emerging and established artists. This belief is exemplified by Park Road’s history of sponsorship and contributions towards WIFT, NZFC and Script to Screen seminars and workshops, as well as the annual SPADA Conference and the inaugural New Filmmaker of the Year Award.
